About This Access Site
Deer Lake Access is located at 4051 W Deer Lake Road in Swiss Township on the west shore of Deer Lake, approximately seven miles east of the Highway 35 and 77 intersection. The site features a concrete boat ramp with an attached dock, making it convenient for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. A picnic table and small parking area are also available.

Deer Lake is a 786-acre lake with a maximum depth of 46 feet, offering good conditions for paddling and boating. The lake supports a healthy fishery including Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Walleye, making it popular with anglers. Note that fishing activity tends to be heaviest in early morning hours, and paddlers should be mindful of other users. The ramp provides straightforward access to the lake, though parking space is limited, so plan accordingly during peak periods.
