Located on the northeast corner of Deer Lake in Clinton, Island County, the WDFW access area provides year-round public boat access via a gravel ramp and parking lot. This is a straightforward launch facility best suited for smaller boats and paddlers, though note that the ramp is relatively shallow, which may require additional effort when launching or retrieving larger watercraft during low-water periods. A restroom facility is available on-site.
Deer Lake offers a diverse fishery including largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, perch, and trout species, making it popular with anglers. Paddlers and boaters should plan accordingly for the shallow launch conditions and check current water levels before arrival. There are no camping facilities at this access point, and ADA accommodations are limited.
