Defeated Creek Marina

**Location & Access:** Defeated Creek Marina is located on Cordell Hull Lake in Carthage, near the northwest corner of the lake at Cumberland River marker 317, approximately 4 miles upstream from the lock and dam. The facility features a two-lane concrete boat ramp with dock access and gravel parking.

**Facilities & Services:** This full-service marina offers both launching capability and onsite amenities including covered and uncovered boat slips, a bait and tackle shop, ethanol-free fuel, and a convenience store. Adjacent Defeated Creek Campground provides camping options with RV hookups and lodging nearby. The marina also operates a restaurant for visitors.

**Paddling & Boating:** Cordell Hull Lake encompasses 12,000 acres with 72 miles of water stretching upstream and 381 miles of shoreline, making it suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and motorized boating. The lake supports diverse fishing opportunities including white bass, rockfish, largemouth bass, catfish, and crappie. This location provides a well-established access point for exploring the upper Cumberland River impoundment with full support services available.
