About This Access Site
Diamond Lake is a 115-acre lake located near Cable in Bayfield County, Wisconsin, with a maximum depth of 40 feet. The access site features a concrete boat ramp suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. The lake supports a healthy fishery including musky, walleye, largemouth and smallmouth bass, and panfish, making it an attractive destination for anglers and recreational boaters alike.

This access point is part of the Two Lakes Campground area, which actually provides access to both Lake Owen and Bass Lake in addition to Diamond Lake. A daily boat launch fee of $5 applies (waived with campground reservations). The campground also offers camping facilities, swimming beaches, and a fishing pier if you're planning an extended visit. For directions from Drummond, follow Forest Road 213 southeast for approximately 2 miles, then turn right onto Forest Road 214 and continue 0.5 mile to the campground. Lake activities include power boating, sailing, water skiing, canoeing and kayaking. There is a half-mile interpretive trail, as well as access to the North Country
National Scenic Trail.Facilities
The campground has drinking water, vault toilets and a dump station for RVs. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring and grill.Natural Features
Two Lakes is adjacent to the Porcupine Lake Wilderness in
Chequamegon National Forest. The forest covers more than 1.5 million acres of Wisconsin's Northwoods.

Some of the Porcupine Lake Wilderness contains rolling hills covered with oak, maple, hemlock and white pine. The remainder of the area is fairly flat.
