Dongola City Reservoir

**Location & Access:** Dongola City Reservoir is located west of Dongola in Union County, Illinois. From downtown Dongola, head west on Mill Street/Lake Road, then turn north onto Howell Lane/Mill Creek Road to reach the access point. The reservoir covers 58 acres, making it suitable for small watercraft like kayaks and canoes.

**Facilities & Regulations:** The site features a single-lane boat ramp with an attached dock for launching and landing. Note that there are no restrooms or concessions available on-site, so plan accordingly. Fishing is restricted to 2 poles and lines only. If you're interested in fishing, be aware of the regulations: largemouth bass have an 18-inch minimum length limit with a one-fish daily harvest limit, while channel catfish have a 6-fish daily limit.
