Note that there are no ADA-accessible parking stalls or hand launch options at this location, so launching typically requires a trailer or vehicle-assisted access.

**What to Expect**
This access point serves as a practical put-in for the Satsop River, though paddlers should be aware that conditions can be challenging. The ramp has been reported to be in poor condition in some seasons. Downstream from the Highway 12 bridge, boaters may encounter significant wood hazards—including logs and root wads—particularly in the grassland sections of the river. Water levels and obstacles vary seasonally, so scout conditions before launching or contact local paddling groups for current reports. The site is open year-round, making it a viable option for winter and shoulder-season paddling when river levels permit safe travel.
