Drano Lake

Drano Lake Boat Ramp provides year-round public access to this 227-acre lake in Skamania County's scenic Columbia River Gorge area. The ramp is located near Cook, Washington, within Gifford Pinchot National Forest. The facility includes a single parking lot with ADA-accessible parking and restroom facilities, making it convenient for a quick launch. The lake sits along the Little White Salmon River drainage, offering a pleasant paddling destination for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats.

This is a developed launch facility without hand-launch options, so it's best suited for trailer boats and those comfortable with ramp launches. No camping is permitted at the site itself, but paddlers can find nearby accommodations at two reservable campgrounds within 10 miles: Wyeth Campground and Moss Creek Campground. The surrounding Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area offers excellent opportunities to combine your paddling with hiking and other outdoor recreation. Plan to arrive during daylight hours and note that facilities are basic, so come prepared with supplies.
