About This Access Site
Located on the north side of Christensen Bay in Brevort Township, the Dukes Road access site offers excellent public boat launch facilities on Brevoort Lake. The site features two concrete ramps with a loading dock between them, making it well-suited for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. Ample parking is available for approximately 35 vehicles, and vault toilets are on-site. This is a free, public access point maintained by Michigan's DNR.

The site sits in a small channel called Massey Creek, providing a somewhat protected launch area before entering the larger lake. Brevoort Lake is a substantial water body in Michigan's Upper Peninsula (Mackinac County), making it suitable for various paddling conditions depending on wind and weather. The nearby Brevoort Lake Campground offers reservable camping if you're planning an extended visit, and the area is within the Hiawatha National Forest region, providing scenic Upper Peninsula paddling opportunities.
