Duncan Boat Dock is located on Fort Loudoun Lake, a major impoundment of the Tennessee River in the Knoxville area. This is a large river system with significant flow and depth, suitable for various watercraft. The site provides access to one of the major recreational lakes in East Tennessee, which offers relatively calm water conditions compared to the flowing sections of the Tennessee River downstream.
