Dunham Bluff Landing

**Location & Facilities:** Dunham Bluff is a public boat ramp access point on the Great Pee Dee River in Marion County, South Carolina. The landing provides parking, a boat ramp, and a courtesy dock, making it a convenient launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats.

**River Character & Paddling:** This section of the Great Pee Dee River features relatively straight, leisurely stretches with densely forested banks upstream from Dunham Bluff. Downstream, the river becomes more dynamic, winding through tight bends and around large sandbars. The area is part of the SC Revolutionary Rivers Water Trail and designated as a State Scenic River, offering opportunities for wildlife viewing, birding, and fishing alongside paddling.

**Getting Started:** Before launching, check water conditions and be prepared for the transition from calmer waters to more winding sections downstream. The scenic setting and managed access make this a good base for exploring this section of the Pee Dee River system.
