This Public Water Access (PWA) site reopens in time for the fishing season in May after facility improvements. Boaters should note that parking availability is limited, so arriving early is recommended. A launch fee applies, with payment collected on-site. The ramp's proximity to Mississippi River Headwaters recreation areas makes it a convenient base for exploring Minnesota's lake country, including access to the Whitefish Chain and other nearby water bodies.
