Eagle Lake's boat ramp in Battle Lake, Otter Tail County provides a dedicated launch facility for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The access site features an asphalt parking area that transitions to gravel near the launch zone, with separate parking for vehicles with boat trailers. A concrete boat ramp with dock access makes launching straightforward for various watercraft types.
**Important Note:** The Eagle Lake Public Water Access (PWA) underwent reconfiguration and reopened for the 2024 fishing season (May 10). Parking availability is limited following improvements, so plan ahead during peak use times. For current conditions or project information, contact the DNR Sauk Rapids Area office at 320-223-7861. A warming hut is located at the lake's edge, making this a year-round access point for winter activities as well as summer paddling and boating.
