The Leo F. DeMarsh Boat Ramp, located behind the East Bay Grill in Barnstable, provides convenient access to East Bay for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorboats. The facility accommodates both trailer launches and car-top launching, with parking available for vehicles and trailers. A special East Bay Ramp sticker ($10) is required for non-residents, and resident parking permits may be needed—check with local authorities before your visit.

East Bay offers paddlers access to a scenic estuarine environment on Cape Cod's south shore, with nearby attractions including the Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, which features open waters, marshlands, and barrier beaches ideal for exploration. The area is suitable for shallow-draft boats and recreational paddling. Given the estuary's tidal nature, plan your launch time accordingly and be prepared for changing water levels throughout the day.
