Eau Galle Lake Recreation Area

Eau Galle Lake Recreation Area in Spring Valley provides excellent access to the 150-acre Eau Galle Reservoir, a scenic paddling destination surrounded by densely wooded hills and bluffs. The main day-use area features a dedicated boat ramp along with a fishing dock, making it convenient for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. The site is well-developed with amenities including flush toilets, a sandy swimming beach, and picnic facilities, making it ideal for family outings.

The reservoir is fed by the 35-mile Eau Galle River and offers calm, sheltered paddling within its wooded landscape. With a maximum depth of 18 feet, the lake is suitable for recreational paddling of all skill levels.
