**For Paddlers & Boaters**
Lake Livingston offers calm, protected water ideal for kayaking and canoeing, particularly in the lake's deeper sections away from the main Trinity River channel. The lake's shallow upper reaches near the river inlet provide scenic paddling through forested shorelines. Echo Lane serves as a primary public access point for exploring the lake's eastern areas. As a free public ramp maintained by the Trinity River Authority, it includes basic facilities for launching. For paddlers seeking multiple launch options, the TRA also operates several other free ramps around the lake including Blanchard, Patrick's Ferry, Whiterock, and Point Blank.
