Eisenhower State Park

Eisenhower State Park offers a well-maintained public boat ramp on Lake Texoma, the largest lake in the Tulsa District. The ramp accommodates vessels up to 26 feet and features a courtesy dock for easy loading and unloading. A $5 launch fee applies, with ample trailer parking available. The facility also includes two lighted fishing piers and a fish cleaning station, making it a convenient multi-use access point. Located near Denison, Texas, the ramp is accessed via US 377 north from Whitesboro to Gordonville, then FM 901.

For paddlers and boaters, note that Lake Texoma is a large impoundment on the Red River, which is a major waterway with significant flow (averaging over 68,000 cubic feet per second). Have your vessel fully prepared before entering the ramp area, launch quickly, and clear the ramp promptly to keep the area accessible for other users. Swimming and boat cleanup are not permitted in the ramp area. With a 4.6 out of 5 rating, this is a popular and well-regarded access point for both motorized and paddle craft.
