El Dorado-Area 8 provides boat access to El Dorado Lake, a substantial 8,000-acre reservoir impounding the Walnut River in Butler County. This is a well-developed recreation area offering a boat ramp along with camping facilities and hiking trails, making it ideal for day trips or extended stays.
