Eufaula State Park-Dogwood

**Location & Access:** The Dogwood boat ramp is located on the east shore of Eufaula Lake on the Canadian River in McIntosh County, Oklahoma. Access the site via Highway 39 to Highway 22 west, then follow signs to the park entrance. The facility features a single-lane paved ramp with a courtesy dock and paved parking area.

**Water Conditions:** Eufaula Lake offers a more controlled paddling environment as a reservoir on the Canadian River, a major waterway (stream order 9) with significant drainage area. Below Eufaula Dam, the tailwaters can be dynamic with strong currents, particularly noted for striped bass fishing. Conditions vary seasonally, so check current water levels and flow rates before paddling.

**Amenities & Recreation:** Beyond the boat ramp, the state park provides swimming areas and beach access. A marina nearby offers year-round services including an enclosed, heated dock and tackle shop. The area is popular with kayakers, canoeists, and boaters, with multiple public ramp options available throughout the lake and within nearby residential developments if this ramp is at capacity.
