E.V. Spence Reservoir, located on the Colorado River approximately 2 miles west of Robert Lee in Coke County, is a large impoundment (14,640 acres) ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. The reservoir features three paved boat ramps strategically positioned to accommodate varying water levels, giving paddlers options depending on current conditions. With a maximum depth of 108 feet and full pool elevation at 1,898 feet, the reservoir provides ample water for recreational use year-round.

Note that the Rough Creek area is currently closed, so plan your paddling routes accordingly.
