This boat ramp provides access to the Alligator Alley Canal North in the Everglades & Francis S. Taylor Wildlife Management Area. Located along Interstate 75 in Broward County, this is one of several access points along the highway corridor that connects paddlers and boaters to the Everglades canal system. The site offers a convenient launching point for exploring the flat-water canal environment typical of this region.
As part of the Everglades WMA system, this access area is designed to serve recreational boaters, kayakers, and canoeists. The Alligator Alley canal system features calm, manageable waters ideal for paddling, with opportunities to observe wildlife native to the Everglades. Nearby rest stops and sister access points (at Mile 31, 34, 35, and 40.7) offer additional facilities and recreation opportunities along the corridor. Be prepared for a remote area—stock up on supplies and water before arriving, and check current conditions as water levels can vary seasonally.
