The Falmouth boat ramp provides access to the Susquehanna River near Bainbridge in Lancaster County. This launch point connects paddlers to the 53-mile Susquehanna River Water Trail (Lower Section), offering opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, and recreational boating on this substantial mid-Atlantic river. The site is conveniently located and serves as one of three primary access points in the Lancaster area.
**Important:** A Pennsylvania PFBC Un-powered Boat Launch Permit is required for all paddlers using this access. Be sure to obtain your permit before launching. The ramp may experience temporary closures for maintenance, so check current conditions beforehand. The Susquehanna in this section is a wide, relatively slow-moving river suitable for paddlers of varying skill levels, making it an accessible option for day trips and longer water trail expeditions.
