Fan Lake Boat Ramp offers a concrete launch facility for paddlers and small motorboats on this 73.4-acre freshwater lake in southwestern Pend Oreille County. Located at an elevation of 1,925 feet near Pocahontas Bay, the ramp provides a wide, well-maintained entry and exit point for kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, and small watercraft. The lake operates under a 5 mph speed limit, making it ideal for quiet paddle sports and recreational fishing.
The lake supports a healthy fishery with brook trout, rainbow trout, yellow perch, black crappie, largemouth bass, and pumpkinseed sunfish. To reach the ramp from Spokane, travel north on U.S. 2 for approximately 26 miles to Allen Road West, then continue west for 3 miles to the public fishing access sign. Note that restroom facilities are available at the site. The ramp is primarily designed for water access only, with no designated shore fishing or swimming areas.
