About This Access Site
The Fawn Lake boat ramp in Trommald provides public access to this 121-acre lake in scenic west-central Crow Wing County, just north of Nisswa. The ramp accommodates boats up to 12-18 feet and includes a dock and limited parking. There are no launch fees at this access site. The lake has a maximum depth of 24 feet and is home to northern pike as the primary game fish species.

Paddlers and boaters should note that Fawn Lake connects via channel to Edna Lake, expanding exploration opportunities in the area. The access site is conveniently located near other popular Minnesota lake country destinations, including the Mississippi River Headwaters area and nearby Gull Lake. This makes it a good base for exploring multiple water bodies in the Crow Wing County chain of lakes system.
