**Location & Access:**
The Fish Creek boat ramp is located at Fish Creek Pond State Campground, approximately 12 miles southwest of Saranac Lake on State Route 30 in Hammond, St. Lawrence County. Access to the ramp is via the campground entrance.
**Facilities & Boat Types:**
This hard-surface ramp accommodates both motorized and non-motorized boats, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and larger recreational vessels. The site provides parking for approximately 15 cars and trailers. Fish Creek is a tributary of the St. Lawrence River, offering access to pristine river and pond paddling opportunities. The adjacent Fish Creek Pond State Campground features a natural sand shoreline and water access from most campsites, making this a good option for paddlers planning extended trips or camping outings.
**Note for Large Boats:**
If your boat is too large for this ramp, Donaldson's ramp (located near the Trading Post across from the campground) or the State launch on Upper Saranac Lake (5 minutes north on County Route 46) offer alternative access points.
