Fish Creek Reservoir

Fish Creek Reservoir is a small, remote reservoir located approximately 10 miles from Carey, Idaho in Blaine County. To access the boat ramp, take Highway 93 from Carey toward Arco and follow the signed turnoff, then proceed on the main gravel road to the reservoir. The site features a boat ramp suitable for launching smaller boats and offers basic facilities including a toilet.

**Conditions and Considerations:** This is a lightly-used, isolated access point ideal for paddlers and anglers seeking solitude. Be aware that reservoir conditions can be variable—water levels fluctuate seasonally, and muddy conditions may develop after rainfall. The gravel road and boat ramp approach can become challenging in wet weather; high-clearance or 4-wheel drive may be necessary to launch and retrieve trailers, especially when water levels are low. The reservoir supports fishing for black crappie, striped bass, largemouth bass, bream, and catfish. Plan accordingly for a remote outing and check current conditions before your trip.
