Fish Haven is a rustic public access point on the Brazos River near Graford, located on the southwest side of Possum Kingdom Lake, approximately one mile upstream from the spillway. Access the site via Park Road 33 off FM 3253. The facility features an older concrete boat ramp and limited parking on a rough concrete pad—suitable for a couple vehicles. A day use fee of $3 per person applies on weekends and holidays from mid-May through mid-September (children under 13 free).
This access point is ideal for paddlers and anglers interested in exploring the immediate river habitat, which features rocky structures creating riffles and pools with good fish habitat. Paddlers have approximately one mile of river to explore before reaching the lake's spillway. The site offers both water access and bank fishing opportunities. Be aware that vegetation (emergent rushes and submerged plants) is present mid- to upper portions of the reservoir, particularly in late summer and fall.
