Fisherman's Landing is a public boat access site located on the north side of Turtle Flambeau Flowage near Mercer, accessible via Fisherman's Landing Road. The site features a single-lane concrete launch ramp suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. This is a convenient mid-lake access point for paddlers looking to explore the expansive 12,942-acre flowage.
The Turtle Flambeau Flowage offers excellent conditions for recreational paddling and fishing, with a maximum depth of 50 feet and scenic shorelines surrounded by dense forests and rolling hills. The lake supports populations of musky, walleye, northern pike, bass, and panfish. If you need more amenities, Springstead Landing on the south side offers a larger facility with triple-wide ramps, parking for 75 vehicles, drinking water, and restroom facilities.
