About This Access Site
Fisherman's Landing offers a developed concrete boat ramp and wooden dock access on Muskegon Lake in downtown Muskegon. The launch area is compact (less than 50 yards) and situated in a sheltered location protected from wind and waves, making it ideal for paddlers launching onto the lake. However, be aware that water depths drop off quickly just a few feet from shore. The facility is designed primarily for motorized watercraft and can accommodate boats up to 30 feet with single or double-axle trailers.

Paddlers should note that **a permit is required to use this launch**, as it is one of four City of Muskegon ramps. From this location, you have convenient access to both Muskegon Lake and the Muskegon Channel leading to Lake Michigan. The ramp's proximity to downtown Muskegon and nearby amenities makes it a practical starting point for exploring the greater Muskegon waterways. There is no fee for parking in addition to the launch permit requirement.
