About This Access Site
Fisherman's Road Access provides a convenient boat ramp for paddlers and boaters accessing Lake Nasworthy's southwestern corner near San Angelo. This is a three-lane concrete ramp with paved parking, operated year-round by San Angelo Parks & Recreation (325-277-8766). The site is located at the end of Fisherman's Road off Knickerbocker Road, making it easily accessible for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats.

Lake Nasworthy maintains a relatively stable water level throughout the year thanks to consistent inflows from Twin Buttes Reservoir upstream, making it a reliable destination for paddling and boating in all seasons. The lake offers good opportunities for recreational boating, fishing, and water sports. Nearby Middle Concho Park and Spring Creek Marina provide additional amenities including picnic areas and designated swimming zones, while Twin Buttes Reservoir lies just 6 miles south for those interested in exploring additional water bodies in the region.
