About This Access Site
**Location & Access:**
Located north of Great Falls off US Highway 21, this Duke Power-managed boat ramp provides access to Fishing Creek Reservoir, a 3,431-acre impoundment with approximately 85 miles of shoreline. The ramp is situated above Fishing Creek Dam and is easily accessible from the town of Great Falls, where supplies and services are available.

**Boating Conditions:**
This shallow reservoir is well-suited for kayaks, canoes, and recreational fishing boats. With a maximum depth of about 100 feet and multiple access points (including three total boat ramps on the reservoir), Fishing Creek offers calm, open-water paddling with easy crossings like those available near Bear Creek Cove. The site includes paved parking and is regularly maintained by Duke Power.

**Fishing & Recreation:**
The reservoir is stocked with black crappie, striped bass, largemouth bass, bream, and catfish, making it a popular fishing destination. Five fish attractors throughout the lake support diverse species. For more information, contact Duke Power's recreation hotline at (866) 613-3413.
