FM 2101 Bridge

The FM 2101 Bridge access point provides public boat launch and fishing access to Little Creek in Hunt County. This 1-acre facility features a 14-foot-wide boat ramp and bulkhead, with year-round wheelchair-accessible portable toilets available. The location allows water access from Little Creek toward Crab Alley Bay and Eastern Bay areas.

Little Creek is a medium-sized headwater stream (Stream Order 5) with modest flow conditions suitable for kayaking and canoeing. The creek features a steep average gradient of 43.7 feet per mile with a 754-foot total elevation drop across its 17.24-mile length, creating an energetic waterway with moderate current (average velocity 1.28 ft/sec). These characteristics indicate moving water with some rapids or riffles, particularly after rainfall—suitable for paddlers with intermediate skills during normal to high-water conditions.

Before launching, check recent water levels and flow conditions, as this upstream creek can fluctuate significantly. The steep gradient and headwater nature mean water levels may be low during dry periods, potentially affecting navigability.
