The concrete ramp is located in San Augustine County and is managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This access point is ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters looking to explore the expansive reservoir and its diverse ecosystem.
To reach the ramp, follow Highway 147 south from Broaddus for 1 mile, turn left (east) onto FM 83 for 8 miles, then turn right (south) onto FM 705 for 11 miles. Continue right (west) on FM 3127 for 1.5 miles past the Piney Woods Conservation Center to reach the boat ramp entrance.
