Fort Peck Dredge Cuts Pond is a state fishing access site located near Park Grove in northeast Montana, offering a convenient boat launch for paddlers and boaters. The site features a maintained boat ramp, two fishing piers, a picnic shelter, and vaulted toilets. Access is via a semi-maintained, all-weather gravel road approximately one mile long. This is a day-use area with no overnight camping available.
The Dredge Cuts Ponds are small, protected waterbodies created by the Army Corps of Engineers through dredging material from the Missouri River during Fort Peck Dam construction. They're located just downstream of the dam and adjacent to the Missouri River, making them ideal for calm-water paddling and fishing. The pond is popular for fishing bluegill and perch. Nearby campground options are available at West End Campground (about 10 miles away), including the reservable West End Tent and Trailer Campground.
