Fort Peck Marina offers a well-developed boat launch on Fort Peck Lake, the fifth-largest man-made reservoir in the United States. The facility features a concrete boat ramp and is part of the Fort Peck Project recreation area, making it one of the primary access points for paddlers and boaters exploring this massive water body. The marina provides numerous amenities including fuel, a bait shop, tackle store, restaurant, and guide services to support your outing.
Beyond the marina itself, paddlers have access to an extensive water system. Fort Peck Lake offers multiple recreation opportunities, though be aware that the massive reservoir can present challenging conditions depending on weather and wind. Additional access points exist at Hell Creek Bay (26 miles north of Jordan) and Rock Creek Bay (10 miles west of Highway 24), though these feature gravel/dirt access roads rather than paved facilities.
For extended stays, two campgrounds are located within 10 miles: West End Campground and West End Tent and Trailer Campground (which offers reservations). The nearby Fort Peck Interpretive Center and Museum provides educational resources about the dam and surrounding area. This is a full-service launching facility best suited for motorboats and larger craft, though canoeists and kayakers can also launch here to explore calmer sections of the reservoir.
