Frazier Point Boat Ramp provides access to Frazier Creek, a large river in southeastern Oklahoma. The ramp is located within the Frazier Point Day Use area, which is a reservable federal recreation facility.
For paddlers, the creek is a headwater stream with a relatively steep average gradient of 29.7 feet per mile. The water volume is moderate, averaging around 234 cubic feet per second. This makes Frazier Creek potentially challenging for inexperienced kayakers or canoers, especially during periods of high flow. More skilled paddlers may enjoy the creek's whitewater characteristics.
Powerboaters and anglers will find the lower reaches of Frazier Creek accessible via the boat ramp. The creek flows into the larger Hugo Lake system, which offers over 18,000 acres of public hunting and fishing opportunities. Parking is available at the ramp for vehicles and boat trailers. Overnight camping is not permitted at the Frazier Point Day Use site, but a reservable group campground is located within 10 miles.
