Fremont State Recreation Area offers boat ramp access to the Platte River near Fremont in eastern Nebraska. Located approximately 3 miles west of the city, this popular recreation area features a developed boat ramp along with supporting amenities including picnic areas and a fish cleaning station. The site provides convenient access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats looking to paddle or boat the Platte River.

The recreation area encompasses nearly 300 water acres across 20 sandpit lakes in addition to the main river access, making it a versatile destination for various water activities. The site is well-established and heavily used, with full campground amenities available nearby including camping, water, restroom facilities, and a camp store. A park permit is required for access, and camping and day-use fees apply.
