Fremont State Recreation Area

Fremont State Recreation Area offers boat ramp access to the Platte River in eastern Nebraska, located approximately 3 miles west of Fremont near Dodge County. This is one of the region's most popular recreation areas, featuring access to both the Platte River and nearby sandpit lakes across roughly 300 water acres. The site is well-developed with amenities including a boat ramp, fish cleaning station, picnic areas, and full campground facilities (drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers, dump station), making it convenient for day trips or extended outings.

This access point is heavily used by various boaters and water enthusiasts. A park permit is required for use, and camping fees apply if you plan to stay overnight.
