Froelich Dam in Chadwick, Sioux County offers a boat ramp for accessing a 166-acre lake in scenic northwestern North Dakota. The lake reaches a maximum depth of 33 feet and provides good opportunities for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. Note that there is no boat dock at this facility, so plan accordingly for launching and landing.
The lake supports a healthy fishery including walleye, northern pike, largemouth bass, perch, crappie, and bluegill, making it popular with anglers as well as recreational paddlers.
