Frye Lake Wildlife Management Area offers a concrete boat ramp (approximately 10 feet wide) providing access to Sears Lake, a small 40-acre water body ideal for non-motorized paddling. Kayakers and canoeists will find this site well-suited for quiet water recreation, as the lake permits only non-motorized vessels. The Wildlife Management Area encompasses 243 acres, providing scenic paddling opportunities and wildlife viewing in the Whitman area of Grant County.
**Note on Access:** The east access point (where the boat ramp is located) is currently undergoing construction improvements and may experience closures. Visitors are advised to check current conditions before visiting, as ongoing construction may affect access and require caution when launching and retrieving boats. Alternative access points may be available at the middle and west sites within the management area during ramp construction.
