About This Access Site
**Location & Access:** Game Warden Slough is located on the west side of Hubbard Creek Reservoir Dam in Stephens County. To reach the ramp, take US 183 to County Road 274, then County Road 277, and follow signs to the boat ramp. This is one of four public ramps maintained by the West Central Texas Municipal Water District serving the reservoir.

**Facilities & Amenities:** This day-use area offers a boat ramp suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. The site features picnic areas with concrete tables and trash bins, a swimming area, and scenic surroundings with trees and lake frontage. The area is known for its natural beauty, though paddlers should note there can be vehicle traffic at various times. For information or questions about water conditions and ramp maintenance, contact the Water District at (325) 673-8254.

**Fishing & Recreation:** Hubbard Creek Reservoir supports bluegill, channel catfish, and other species, making it popular with anglers. No boat rental facilities are available at the access site, but bait shops can be found along US 80. The ramp is open year-round with no fee required. Three of the district's ramps (including nearby Peeler and Corley) are designed to remain usable at reservoir elevations of 1175 msl and higher.
