The Gardiner Public Town Landing is conveniently located just below the Gardiner and Randolph Bridge, accessible via Route 24 in downtown Gardiner. This facility features two cement boat ramps serviced by a float, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and larger boats. The site includes picnic tables and restroom facilities, with trailer parking available in a large city lot (parking can be limited during peak times).
This launch provides excellent access to the Kennebec River, offering paddlers entry to a significant waterway in central Maine. The Waterfront Park setting in historic downtown Gardiner adds amenities including scenic overlooks and a boardwalk, making it a pleasant spot to begin or end your paddle.
