Located at the southeast corner of Geary State Fishing Lake near Junction City, this boat ramp provides good access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The ramp is situated close to picnic areas and a well-maintained vault toilet facility. Note that there is no running water or electrical service available at the site, so plan accordingly if you're planning an extended visit.
The lake offers several advantages for paddlers: a dock and walk-out jetties provide additional access points, and a large portion of the lake is only accessible by water, making it appealing for exploration. The site includes designated camping areas with fire pits and picnic tables scattered around the loop, with some spots offering more secluded, wooded settings. Be aware that a posted safety zone extends from the east bluff down to the lake edge. This location works well for both day-use paddling and overnight camping trips, with fishing opportunities accessible throughout the lake.
