About This Access Site
This small, town-owned launch ramp on the Weir River is located in Hull between Steamboat Wharf and Jake's Restaurant. **Important note:** The ramp is only usable at higher tides and becomes essentially unusable at low tide, so plan your launch accordingly. There is no public trailer parking available on-site, and limited parking in the lot, which fills quickly on weekends.

Once launched, paddlers can explore the scenic Weir River Estuary. Kayakers and canoeists will find this a suitable venue for calm-water paddling, with equipment rentals available at Nantasket Kayaks (48 George Washington Boulevard). Nearby Straits Pond offers an additional 94-acre paddling option. The ramp has no dock or float, so be prepared to beach your boat or use the nearby town dock for tie-up. Given the tidal constraints and parking limitations, this site works best for smaller vessels and is ideal for kayakers and canoeists rather than larger motorboats.
