About This Access Site
The Glass Bridge Access on the Chattahoochee River-West Point Lake provides a convenient boat ramp for kayakers, canoeists, and other small boaters. Located near the town of LaGrange, Georgia, this U.S. Army Corps of Engineers recreation area offers direct access to the wide, slow-moving waters of West Point Lake.

The boat ramp is part of the Glass Bridge Park, which also features picnic sites and bank fishing access. While the park offers a reservable group shelter, there are no specific fees noted for use of the boat ramp. Paddlers and boaters can launch directly into the lake, which covers over 40 square miles and is known for its excellent fishing opportunities.

Those visiting the Glass Bridge Access will find ample parking available, making it easy to load and unload kayaks, canoes, and other small watercraft. The park's location, approximately 4.5 miles west of LaGrange, provides a scenic access point to explore the Chattahoochee River and West Point Lake by water.
