About This Access Site
Located in Fernandina Beach at 95001 Goffinsville Road, this Nassau County facility offers excellent access to the Nassau River with a wide, well-maintained boat ramp and ample parking for vehicles and trailers. The park accommodates kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats looking to explore this coastal waterway. A 150-foot fishing pier is also available on-site, making it a good spot for anglers as well as paddlers wanting to scout conditions before launching.

The Nassau River in this area is influenced by tidal flows as part of the Atlantic coastal ecosystem. Paddlers should be aware of tidal conditions when planning trips, as they significantly affect water levels and current strength. The surrounding area provides access to some of Florida's most historically and ecologically significant regions—the nearby Timucuan Ecological & Historic Preserve protects unspoiled salt marshes and 6,000 years of human history, while Fort Caroline National Memorial preserves French colonial heritage. These nearby attractions make Goffinsville an excellent launch point for both recreational paddling and exploration of the region's natural and cultural resources.
