Goldeneye Wildlife Management Area

The Goldeneye Wildlife Management Area boat ramp provides convenient access to Big Springs Cemetery pond near Big Springs in Deuel County. Located just off Interstate 80, this 23-acre wildlife management area features a dedicated boat launch ramp along with a graveled access road and large parking area accommodating up to 130 vehicles. The site includes vault toilets and a picnic area, making it suitable for day trips.

This small pond offers fishing opportunities for black crappie, bluegill, channel catfish, largemouth bass, and yellow perch, making it a decent spot for anglers. The pond is best suited for small recreational boats, canoes, and kayaks rather than large watercraft. Note that the surrounding wildlife management area is restricted to foot traffic only for hunting and fishing, so plan accordingly if you're combining water and land-based recreation.
