Goodland County Park offers a convenient boat launch on the west shore of Lake Waubesa, just south of Madison. This 14-15 acre park features ample parking and a dedicated boat ramp suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorized boats. The launch provides straightforward water access to explore Lake Waubesa, a popular recreational destination in the Madison area.
Beyond paddling and boating, the park is well-developed with multiple amenities including picnic areas, two shelters, an unsupervised swimming beach, and recreational facilities (tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts). The park's 600 feet of shoreline and partially wooded setting make it a pleasant spot to spend time on the water or land.
