Goose Island County Park features multiple boat ramps and canoe launch areas, making it an excellent staging point for paddlers exploring the Upper Mississippi River Valley. The park is situated between Trempealeau, WI and Dresbach, MN in a scenic corridor managed by the Army Corps of Engineers.
The Mississippi River at this location is a substantial waterway with an average flow of 685,000 cubic feet per second and relatively gentle gradient (0.8 ft/mile).
