About This Access Site
Goose Lake in Oxford, Adams County offers a concrete boat ramp with a 10-vehicle parking lot, providing convenient access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. This 62-acre seepage lake is a popular destination for recreational paddling and fishing, with sites available on a First Come, First Serve basis. The day-use area includes parking, picnic tables, and vault toilet facilities to support your visit.

The lake is regularly stocked with fish throughout the season, making it attractive for anglers targeting stocked trout (rainbows and browns) as well as native brook trout and cutthroat. Given Goose Lake's popularity with families and recreational boaters, expect moderate activity, particularly on weekends. The lake's calm, enclosed character makes it suitable for paddlers of various skill levels.
