Gouldsboro State Park offers a public boat ramp providing access to the 250-acre Gouldsboro Lake in northeastern Pennsylvania. Kayakers, canoeists, and other boaters can launch electric-powered boats from the ramp or rent equipment directly from the shoreline concessions, including kayaks, canoes, rowboats, paddleboats, and electric motor boats (seasonal, Memorial Day through Labor Day). The lake features 50 overnight mooring spaces for those planning extended trips; a state park mooring permit is required and can be obtained at the Tobyhanna State Park office.
The lake provides a scenic, relatively protected paddling environment within the 2,800-acre state park. Gouldsboro Lake is popular for both fishing and recreational boating, making it well-suited for paddlers of various skill levels. The park's extensive acreage offers opportunities to explore beyond the water, though paddlers should be aware that the lake is a man-made reservoir, so water levels and conditions may vary seasonally.
